I am 35 years old, living with stage IV Endometriosis, possibly adenomyosis and struggled with infertility for almost 4 years. I also struggled with PPD and now struggle with PMDD. I am a mother to a son that was born at 18 weeks and too precious for this earth; and now a mother to a son born in August 2011. By journaling here, I hope to benefit both for myself and for others that are dealing with this disease and fertility struggles. Thanks for visiting!

folliculitis is an infection of the hair follicle caused by staph. staph is always on your skin, but it doesn't usually infect you, it needs a way in, like when you itch something until it bleeds, in my case i was scratching a lot because of the impetigo. i'm not trying to freak you out, i swear! it is unlikely that you will get it. my impetigo cleared up within a few weeks after i started getting treated for it, but i was stuck with the folliculitis for years and i also developed eczema. i still have inflamed hair follicles sometimes. if you ever have to have another laparoscopy tell them you want them to close with steri-strips!

Yeah, honey... I knew by the way you were talking that things were going downhill without having seen this picture. That's why I was bugging you about going in to be seen. So glad you went in. I hope you're feeling MUCH better! Glad you got some sleep (yes, I saw your Facebook).
