I am 35 years old, living with stage IV Endometriosis, possibly adenomyosis and struggled with infertility for almost 4 years. I also struggled with PPD and now struggle with PMDD. I am a mother to a son that was born at 18 weeks and too precious for this earth; and now a mother to a son born in August 2011. By journaling here, I hope to benefit both for myself and for others that are dealing with this disease and fertility struggles. Thanks for visiting!

Battle wounds

Feeling like someone has beaten from the inside out today (I guess they kinda did). The left side where they cleared the colon adhesions is particularly sore and bruised. I'm trying to move around a good bit to get that gas out. Daym that stuff hurts!!!

The worst part of the prep the other day were the antibiotics....they were just awful. The Miralax was a breeze though. I'd recommend that to anyone that they suggest it for!!! I'm so thankful they gave me that as an alternative....after the antibiotics made me so sick, there was no way I was going to get the go-lytely down!

I'm very happy about the results (here's to hoping the results last a bit longer this time) and looking forward to meeting with the Dr. in a few weeks. For now, I'm taking it easy and resting and being pampered-and keeping up on my pain meds! Thank you all for your prayers and support!!! Going back to nap now!!!

I hope you start feeling better very soon and that the gas dissipates asap. The movement and heat definitely helps for that. You're so brave for posting that tummy pic. It brought back memories of my recent lap. Rest up and don't be brave and quit the pain meds too soon.

Gas pain was the worst!!! I couldn't lay down flat for a whole week after my Lap, I had to sleep propped up on a gazillion pillows. Hope it goes away soon for you!!!

Oh you look sore but I'm so glad it was all worth it to get the results you did - and I hope they last longer this time too!

Take good care of yourself, enjoy being pampered, and let's hope the gas disipates soon I remember being totally shocked at just how painful the gas was.

The gas pain is one of the hardest parts of the recovery! If you've got access to a rocking chair, rocking is suppose to help tremendously! I wish you have a speedy recovery! Take care of yourself and enjoy the pampering!

That looks familiar. I'm so sorry you are still in pain. The gas pains are the worst part of it. The first lap I had, it took a whole week to get rid of them. Hope the rest of your recovery is quick!
