I am 35 years old, living with stage IV Endometriosis, possibly adenomyosis and struggled with infertility for almost 4 years. I also struggled with PPD and now struggle with PMDD. I am a mother to a son that was born at 18 weeks and too precious for this earth; and now a mother to a son born in August 2011. By journaling here, I hope to benefit both for myself and for others that are dealing with this disease and fertility struggles. Thanks for visiting!

Don't tell my mom...

But, I'm pregnant!!!

So far.

Beta was 499 this AM!!!

Truth be told, I am scared out of my mind and in complete and utter shock. The incessant migraines the past few days though gave it away for me...I should have known. I'm so scared. I just sat on the bed staring at the phone when the nurse told me. Lots of conflicting emotions. So, trying to stay grounded here and wait for Weds. test to see if they can double. Until then, I'm in love!!!! And I will be thankful for what we have been given, even though it isn't a guarantee.

If you know me, don't tell others that don't read this blog. We'll all talk more later! And, neither of our parents know a thing. Waiting a little bit so they don't have to ride an emotional roller coaster with us if there is one.

Holy cow. I seriously cannot believe it!

Hey~wanted to answer your question thought you might see it here. They have not put me on a "high risk" list or schedule, but Dr's office treats me with kid gloves. I was able to get as many beta's as I wanted, an early ultrasound, I can go in to hear the heartbeat anytime (though I have a doppler and you should get one too) and basically my nurse and dr have done everything in their power to make sure I am not stressed or anxious. Basically, I lost the twins due to identical twin complications and there is less than 1% that the same thing will happen in a single pregnancy. And if you end up with twins it won't happen to you either. Though I do have partial placenta previa this pregnancy which means pelvic rest and no exercise. But it is a "normal" thing and worst case is a c-section (i laugh everytime someone says that is the worst thing that can happen~b/c we know what is worse).

Congrats again, can't wait to hear that 2nd beta and tell us WHEN is the U/S scheduled for so we can start counting down with you!
